Science teacher Fransie Snyman has a B Ed and a B Sc degree in home economics and has always been interested in crafts and needlework despite her involvement in the sciences. Attending craft markets and fairs whenever the opportunity arose, she eventually got involved selling home-made chocolates. She soon began experimenting with different types of cardboard to make boxes suited to particular shapes of chocolate and this resulted in her second book, CARDBOARD CRAFT, a top seller both locally and abroad. Author of the popular IT’S PARTYTIME – FUN IDEAS FOR CHILDREN’S PARTIES, she spends most of her free time sewing fun clothes for her four children and recently made a matric dance dress for her oldest daughter. MAKING KIDS CLOTHES is the culmination of ideas collected over many years. Her latest offering is CROSS-STITCH MINIATURES, soon to be joined by QUICK AND EASY BEADING.
