Crystal balls
You can make them big, you can make them small – in fact – any size at all! Learn 2 different techniques to create crystal bead balls. By using different sized crystals, they can be used as sun catchers, window charms, Christmas tree decorations, dainty earrings or eye-catching necklaces. Fransie uses these techniques to make crystal jewellery – in a jiffy. And so can you. Classes daily at 11-12:30 and 15:30-17:00
Melanie Brummer (author of Contemporary dyecraft)
Would you like to make your own printed fabrics for quilting and crafting? Do you think that it is an expensive exercise to print your own fabrics? Let Melanie show you how to make an infinite range of options using simple techniques and materials that you can find around your home. During this workshop you will make 4 fat quarters of printed fabric. Classes daily at 9 -10:30

Have fun with texture and make your own Sweethearts: a small canvas with four wooden blocks will be completed using various texture techniques - 3 dimensional and paint effects. Paste, crackle and paint with negative and positive stencils and make your mark with sgraffito and imprinting. Dry brush and watery paint will add colour to your work. Classes daily at 9-10:30 and 11-12:30
Create a textured tile featuring a luscious fig using crack filler, texture tools and acrylic paint in our easy workshop. You don’t need drawing skills; with the simplest tools you’ll be inspired to try a whole range of fabulous fruits for yourself. Varnish the results for a weather resistant finish. Classes daily at 13:30-15:00 and 15:30 – 17:00.
